For the EuroHockey Championships 2025, we are once again looking for people who are interested in actively helping out and thus gaining valuable experience and simply having fun at such a sporting event.

Volunteers wanted in various areas

"We are looking for numerous volunteers for the EuroHockey Championships 2025 in Mönchengladbach to help make the event a complete success. Based on our experience from previous events, we can say that it pays to be quick. Our volunteer places are usually in high demand and fill up quickly," says Nina Holtgrewe, Event Director at the German Hockey Federation and responsible for the planning and organization of the European Championships. Holtgrewe goes on to say that the aim is to involve volunteers from all walks of life, from young to old. They should all have one thing in common: great motivation and enjoy volunteering. "I am always fascinated by the dedication with which our volunteers support the sport of field hockey. And they are also the ones who will ultimately be the faces of the European Championships, welcoming the players and visitors and putting a smile on their faces," Holtgrewe continues.
