Here you can find all results, times and schedules of EuroHockey Championships 2023. The men's competition kicks off on Saturday, August 19, with the defending champions Netherlands against the increasingly strong French in Pool B. The German men will play their first tournament match in the same group, also on August 19, against Wales. The following day, the men's tournament starts with Spain against Austria and Olympic champions Belgium against England in Pool A.

Statement to the group constellation
"Even though our focus is currently on the World Cup in January, the home European Championship is of course a highlight that has long been on our minds. For many of us, it will be a unique experience to play for the title in our own stadium.
The Netherlands is likely to be the toughest competitor. They clearly dominated 2022 and are always favorites. France has continued to develop strongly of late - especially in view of the Olympic Games in Paris. The French are therefore likely to be the toughest rivals for a semifinal ticket. Wales, as a promoted team, is certainly an underdog, is unpleasant to play against and will not be a foregone conclusion," André Henning (national coach men).
