The national coach on the squad nomination

We want to take our fans with us in our own stadium and get them involved. This team has a strong mix of offensive power and immense defensive qualities. At the European Championship, we want to use this to deploy our speed, especially on the counter-attack. It's going to be a very special event, because it's the first home tournament of the career for everyone in the team. Six months after winning the World Cup, we are now reaching for the next title, which is a huge challenge on many levels and also a special opportunity that motivates us all.

National Coach, André Henning
